This happens when you try to play a movie or show that is 5.1 surround sound or 7.1 but don't have a way to play it.
2 ways to fix this. One is to first check to see if the audio available on the show has a different audio choice. Do this by clicking the ok button during playback and pressing down and choosing the speaker icon. If none are available.
Then try this other method: Go to Settings on the home screen of Plex. you will see this on the far bottom left.
Scroll down until you see an option for HDMI passthrough. Turn it on or off to see if this helps.
